The American Synopsis:
The movie follows the life of an assassin named Jack (George Clooney) who is a master on this craft and can better do the job alone. After a job in Sweden the ended harshly than expected for this American abroad. He then said to his contact Larry that his next assignment would be his last. So Jack retreats to an Italian countryside where he had the chance of accepting the friendship of a local priest and meets a beautiful local woman whom he develops a romantic relationship.
