Cop Out is the first movie from Kevin Smith that he hasn’t written himself. It’ll be interesting to see how he takes on someone else’s material while no doubt retaining his distinctive voice.

The concept appears to be a straightforward buddy comedy about a couple of cops but Smith should be able to elevate the familiar ground he has to cover. Maybe elevate isn’t the right word, more like bring it down to his level. Whatever he does, we can’t wait to see it and that’s why Cop Out makes the list.

Plot:
A comedy about a veteran NYPD cop whose rare baseball card is stolen. Since it’s his only hope to pay for his daughter’s upcoming wedding, he recruits his partner to track down the thief, a memorabilia-obsessed gangster.

I really admired this upcoming movie since i am fond of supernaturals and paranormal activities kind of movies. Here are some of the summary of The Wolfman movie.

Universal Studios resurrects the classic lycanthrope with this tale of an American who experiences an unsettling transformation after returning to his ancestral home in Victorian-era Great Britain and being attacked by a rampaging werewolf. His brother having recently vanished without a trace, haunted nobleman Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro) returns to his family estate to investigate.

What he discovers upon reuniting with his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins), however, is a destiny far darker than his blackest nightmares. As a young boy, the untimely death of his mother caused Talbot to grow up before his time. Though Talbot would attempt to bury his pain in the past by leaving the quiet Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor behind, the past returns with a vengeance when his brother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), convinces him to return home and aid the search for his missing brother.

But something monstrous has been stalking the residents of Blackmoor from the nighttime shadows, something not quite human. Not even recently arrived Scotland Yard inspector Aberline (Hugo Weaving) can dream up a rational explanation for the gruesome spell that has been cast over Blackmoor, yet rumors of an ancient curse persist to this very day. According to legend, the afflicted will experience a horrific transformation by the light of the full moon, their animal rage becoming far too powerful for their human bodies to contain.

Now, the woman Talbot loves is in mortal danger, and in order to protect her he must venture into the moonlit woods and destroy the beast before it destroys her. But this isn’t your typical hunt, because before the beast can be slain, a simple man will uncover a primal side of himself that he never knew existed. Screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker pens a film directed by Joe Johnston and featuring creature effects by special-effects makeup legend Rick Baker.

Sypnosis:

Cebuano promoter Rex “Wakee” Salud, a long-time member of Pacquiao’s exclusive inner circle, said Clottey could end up on the canvas this time, but warned the reigning Pound- for-Pound king that he will be facing his toughest fight yet when he faces Clottey at the spanking Cowboys stadium.

Salud said the 33-year-old Clottey is hungrier and tougher than Cotto, whom Pacquiao stopped in the 11th round last November to capture the WBO welter weight crown to become the first fighter in history to win world title – s in seven different weight classes.

“There’s no one out there who can provide Pacquiao an exciting fighter [except] Clottey,” said Salud.

Salud cited the fact that Clottey has never been knocked out and his three losses capped by narrow split decision setbacks to Cotto last June 13 – were all disputable. Pacquiao, Salud said could change that. And online bookies seemed to agree, pegging Pacquiao a minus-400 (4-1) favorite against Clottey, who is listed a plus-280 underdog.

In money terms, a $400 bet on Pacquiao would earn a $100 payout. On the other have, a $100 wager on Clottey could fetch $280 for the better.

Pacquiao is set to leave for Los Angeles on Sunday, in time for a kickoff press conference in Dallas on January 19 and another preen conference at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Clottey, a natural welterweight, will head south to train in warmer conditions and sweat it out as he has reported to have struggled at making the welterweight limit of 147 pounds in the past.

“We’re probably going out to either Las Vegas or South Florida,” Clottey manager Vincent Scolpino told Examiner.com’s.

“Joshua has a guy who I think used to work with Azumah nelson,” he said. Pacquiao settled on facing Clottey after negotiations for a super fight with undefeated American superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. bogged down due to disagreements over drug-testing Protocols.
